Installation "SPHERE-20" by Kaupo Kikkas 2020-2021

Sphere - 20 is a work of sculpture by Kaupo Kikkas. Completed during the first Covid lockdown, the artist decided to destroy the work, preserving it only in the form of photographs and video. The sphere was constructed from tree roots hidden inside peat for hundreds of years. The work is accompanied by an original soundtrack of choral music, as well as sounds captured from the cosmos.
